According to the news agency of the Committee on Relief, Alireza Hosseinzadeh, during a meeting with Seyed Mohammad Etemad Ejazi, the governor of Ardabil, stated: "The Committee on Relief is by no means a poverty-producing institution, and social misfunctions have led to the creation of poverty."  He added: "The Committee on Relief strives to empower and promote self-sufficiency among vulnerable groups in society so that they can achieve sustainable income and appropriate economic independence."  Hosseinzadeh referred to the extensive activities of the Committee on Relief in supportive, medical, housing, employment creation, and cultural services for its target community, stating: "This institution has taken effective steps to alleviate poverty and deprivation, and in this regard, we need more cooperation from other executive agencies and benefactors."  The director-general of the Committee on Relief in Ardabil Province emphasized: "All efforts are focused on addressing the empowerment of families as a main approach to create the conditions and environment for the self-sufficiency of supported families with dignity and genuine respect."  During the meeting, Seyed Mohammad Etemad Ejazi, the governor of Ardabil, also expressed gratitude for the actions of the Committee on Relief in poverty alleviation, stating: "One of the most significant programs of the Committee on Relief in Ardabil Province last year was the celebration of the self-sufficiency of 2,000 beneficiaries, which created a lasting impression for them and other needy families."  He mentioned: "Creating sustainable employment for beneficiaries leads to the alleviation of poverty and deprivation, and in this regard, with facilitation and broader cooperation, we can witness their self-sufficiency and the revival of production in the region."  It is worth mentioning that at the end of this meeting, a certificate of appreciation was presented to acknowledge the cooperation and collaboration of the governor of Ardabil with the Committee on Relief.
